Many of our high priced moisturizers, face creams, and cleansers do the exact opposite of what they claim. So while you may think that you’re creating a youthful, skin-tightening glow, you may be deconstructing the collagen production with chemical laden skin care products that offer "fast results" but deliver false promises. 
 
Certain synthetic ingredients used in many “designer” skin care lines are nothing more than engine degreasers, hormone disrupters and potential cancer producers. Take a look at the packaging for some of the following face lifting ingredients that are actually "face falling"!:

  • Mineral Oil, Paraffin and Petrolatum: Coats the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatologic issues. Shows cellular development and causes you to show earlier signs of aging.
  • Parabens: An estimated 13,200 cosmetic, hair and skincare products contain parabens. Parabens have hormone disrupting qualities, mimicking estrogen, which interfere with the body’s endocrine system. Studies implicate their connection with cancer.

Follow My Three-Day Skin Detox for Vibrant Skin at Any Age

 6:30-7:00am 
  • Rise and Shine – Upon waking, drink 8 to 10oz. of warm water with a capful of raw apple cider vinegar (Nature’s Probiotic) to remove toxic waste, promote healthy gut flora, and detoxify the liver.
  • Rehydrate and Wake Up Your Skin with LLH Skin Saving Spray with Hu Minerals
  • Take a Deep Breath – 5-10 minute breath meditation. Find a time that works best for you. Meditators are reported to have fewer wrinkles and fewer worries.
 
7:00am-7:30am
  • Breakfast in a Glass – Choose Breakfast Smoothie. Drink half, save the remainder for after your morning workout. (See Recipe Below)
  • Oral Oil Pulling – Oil pull for 5-15 minutes or brush teeth with a dab of coconut oil and rinse.
 
7:30-9:30am
  • Break A Sweat – 20-30 minutes of exercise. Walking, yoga, and pilates are recommended. Drink the rest of your breakfast smoothie.
  • Shed Some Skin – Dry brush your skin lightly to remove dead skin cells. My LLH skincare set is now available 
  • Stimulate Your Skin – Lightly apply my LLH Sugar Scrub to your body (avoiding the neck and chest) in a circular motion. Then alternate between hot and cold water to stimulate circulation.
  • Skin Lather – While skin is still damp, lubricate with my LLH Head-to-Toe Body Whip. (a face cleanser, make-up remover and heavy-duty moisturizer all in one)
 
Noon- 1:00pm
  • Liquid Lunch – Choose Lunch Smoothie or Skin Saving Soup
 
2:00-4:00pm
  • Downtime – 20 minutes of downtime and downward facing dog to send oxygen and nutrients to the skins cells. 
 
4:00-4:30pm
 
6:00-7:00pm
 
8:00-9:00pm
  • Wash Up – Use a sulfate-free face wash or LLH Head-to-Toe Body Whip, which acts as a make-up remover and moisturizer all in one. Then spray with LLH Skin Saving Spray.
  • Nighttime Tea – Drink 1 cup of your favorite Detox Tea.
 
10:00pm
  • Lights Out – Strive for 7-8 hours of sleep! According to science,lack of sleep negatively impacts collagen production.

Face Lift Smoothie

 
½ cup of organic coconut milk
½ cup of silica rich water or alkaline water (see me about Fountain of Truth Water)
1 scoop of collagen protein (see me about recommended products)
1 tbsp of hemp seeds
1 cup of wild blueberries
1/2 banana
